Arkansas Fashion School had a wonderful fashion show at the Women's Living Expo October 7-8th in Fort Smith AR. We had some wonderful students present their work at 2 fashion shows both on Saturday and Sunday. A big thank you to NWAA Management for providing models, and Women's Living Expo for having us. Our designers had a wonderful time.

It’s great to see fashion students taking part in local expos; setting up a proper booth layout is always such a huge learning experience. While researching lighting setups for craft displays and runway backdrop accents, I came across some budget comparisons for handmade decorative lighting, specifically looking into Lampes en céramique (pardon the French product term from the supplier catalog I was checking) to see if ceramic textures work well under show lights without creating weird glares. Balancing booth aesthetics with functional illumination is definitely a challenge, but events like this are the best place to test what works!
Attending the Women's Living Expo was such an inspiring experience, especially seeing all the creative local talent and fashion showcases on display.
