TAILORING II

Tailoring II  is a 40 clock hour course in the Fashion Study Program.The final course of flat pattern making, students will create patterns for outer wear, several types of coats, and the proper tailoring techniques. The student will choose and  complete one fully lined suit comprised of a Lined Jacket and bottom, and one fully lined coats.

8-Week Agenda
WEEK ONE
  • Introduction to Class

  • Cut Fabric and Lining for Full Cape

WEEK TWO
  • Work on Full Cape

 
WEEK THREE
  • Finalize Lined Full Cape

  • Turn in Lined Full Cape

  • Cut Lining and Fabric for Shawl Collar 

                                   
WEEK FOUR
  • Learn Lined Pants Zipper

  • Create Sample Lined Pants Zipper

  • Cut Pants and Lining 

 
WEEK FIVE
  • Work on  Lined Shawl Collar

 
WEEK SIX
  • Finalized Lined Shawl Collar

  • Turn in Lined Shawl Collar

  • Cut Lining and Fabric for Over Coat

 
WEEK SEVEN
  • Work on Over Coat

WEEK EIGHT
  • Finalize Over Coat

  • Turn in Over Coat
