Arkansas Fashion School instructors had a wonderful time meeting and teaching basic tailoring to everyone who came out for the October 20th Free Workshop. AFS is looking forward to our next Free Tailoring Workshop on November 17th with two times available: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

It’s great seeing creative workshops that give people a chance to learn practical tailoring skills in such a welcoming environment. Events like this help build confidence while bringing together people who enjoy fashion and hands on learning. Offering different time slots also makes it easier for students and working adults to join without stress. The photos from the previous session show a fun and supportive atmosphere that makes learning feel comfortable. Small touches around creative spaces, even simple christian mugs during breaks, can make workshops feel even more warm and inviting.
Community workshops such as this play an important role in keeping practical skills alive and accessible to all ages. Learning basic tailoring builds confidence, creativity, and self sufficiency, especially for beginners who want hands on experience. Offering flexible time slots makes it easier for more people to participate and benefit from expert instruction.
