Arkansas Fashion School instructors had a wonderful time meeting and teaching basic tailoring to everyone who came out for the October 20th Free Workshop. AFS is looking forward to our next Free Tailoring Workshop on November 17th with two times available: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Community workshops such as this play an important role in keeping practical skills alive and accessible to all ages. Learning basic tailoring builds confidence, creativity, and self sufficiency, especially for beginners who want hands on experience. Offering flexible time slots makes it easier for more people to participate and benefit from expert instruction. Events that focus on skill building also remind us how preparation and the right tools matter, whether in sewing or even technical setups that require something as specific as a lock for 3 battery to stay organized and secure.
